Sarah Ebling is a senior researcher at the Department of Computational Linguistics of the University of Zurich, where she heads the Language Technology for Accessibility group. Her research focus is on the contribution of natural language processing for persons with disabilities, specifically, sign language technology and automatic text simplification. She is currently UZH PI of an EU project (H2020 ICT-57), an SNSF Sinergia project, and a project funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency.
In addition, she is an engaged lecturer, placing emphasis on sharing her knowledge with the next generation.
